Training for the upcoming battle

After the eventful day in Cherrygrove Rakutsu decided to spend the day training. It was currently 6 am in the morning and his pokemon needed the training if they were going up againest the gym in the net town over.

He spotted a LV.6 Rattata in front of him and he sent out his Pidegy.

They fought as Pidegy used quick attack the Rattata used tackle and then bite. He was worried about Pidgey, but he knew that she can take it. She was too fast and the rate was down after two quick attacks.

Pidegy gained 2 levels

Pidegy grew to Level 7

He recalled her so he can give her some rest and a potion.

But what he wasn't expecting was 5 rattatas looking for a fight in front of Him. He knew who to sent.

"Gible handle them as you see fit I can't boss you around forever."

Rizen let out a lively 'Gible!' in response as he stared down the horde of Rattata. Seeing as there were multiple Pokemon, the best response would've been to deal damage to all of them with Earthquake. The problem was... well, Earthquake was hard for Rizen to use.

He'd just have to see then.

Growling, he whipped up Sandstorm to cover the field of vision the Rattata shared. Rizen could see fine since he was used to making sandstorms and having to fight in them. He dodged the Tackle moves from each of the Rattata for the most part, only getting minor damage to his leg and right arm.

Rakutsu smiled at Rizen's combat style. He was coming along nicely with his defense and offensive styles. He continued to watch and observe the fight with Pidegy.

It was now or never. It probably wouldn't knock them out straight away, but it would probably incapacitate the ones that Earthquake hit.

Rizen took a big leap as the Rattata gathered themselves and smashed his tiny foot on the ground, sending noticeable tremors through the area; especially in waves towards his enemies.

Some dodged the attack as it rippled and ripped through the ground, but three of them were hit and cascaded into the dirt after they were blown a short distance away. The remaining two Rattata managed to avoid by jumping, but Rizen was ready for that and dodged the attacks with help of the sandstorm cover.

Rakutsu almost lost his balance as Rizen used earthquake on the battlefield. It would seem that he needed some more training with that move. But he kept his eyes glued to the field at all times.

"Dragooooon fury!" Rizen roared (of course no-one would hear it as that, but that was what he said) as he leapt away towards the three still struggling to get up from the previous attack. Instead of just one claw, his two hands were glowing a bright green-blue.

He swiped his claws in succession once at each of the downed Rattata, leaving them sprawled in the ground. All that was left were the two that landed before; the same two that were using Tackle in his direction.

Rizen flared his fangs up with Fire Fang. Instead of dodging completely, however... he opened his mouth up and caught one of the Rattata's arms in his mouth. He clamped down hard, staying firm despite it trying to struggle out of his vice grip.

Then, he jumped and swung the Rattata in his mouth towards the one that missed its mark. Two for one attack! Hell yeah! The two slammed into the ground hard and lay fainted there. He gained one level from fighting all of them and grew to level 9.

Rizen grinned happily and turned back towards Rakutsu.

Rakutsu rose from his seat on the group and walked to Rizen while clapping his hands. He had became proud of the little man since they met.[color=red]"Good job Rizen your doing well in your training." He would then use a potion on the land shark to heal it from any damage it took from the battle. Before they can contiue a wild LV.5 weedle crawled out of a tree and on to the dirt road. Rakutsu eyed it before getting a idea. He threw his pokeball at the Weedle catching after hearing a click. He was told that beedrills were bad pokemon, but he had plans for it when he studied mega evoultion.

"Gib?" Rizen waddled over with a grin looking pleased with his victory over the five Pokemon, although curious about the Weedle Rakutsu just caught. He also wondered what they were going to do next now that he had caught the Weedle and he'd finished with that battle.

"Ok I'm starting to get hungry so why don't I-" Raktsu didn't finish his sentence as he was shot with a strong of webbing on his face. He was shocked by this as he ripped the webbing off his face to see what shot him. He turned to see a horde of 5 caterpie. For this battle he sent out his new Weedle and his Pidgey. He order a poison sting on one of them as Pidgey used a tackle on the same one. Said caterpie fainted from a dose of poison. The remaining four used tackle on them, but Pidgey would dodge one of them as if flew to the side, but was hit by the second. Weedle got hit by both however. The process repeated for three other caterpie. The fifth and final one was taken care of by Pidegy with two quick attacks.

Weedle gained 5 EXP.
